Atlanta, Georgia

The image below shows a copy of the birthplace cottage in Alloway Scotland.  The foundation stone for this building was laid on 5th November 1910.  The building was to become the headquarters of the Atlanta Burns Club and it is believed that this now houses a copy of the Bust of Burns as shown in Windsor Ontario but this has yet to be confirmed.

A similar building was created in St Louis for the 1904 World's Fair.  It is believed that this was dissembled and moved to Portland Oregon for the Lewis and Clark Centennial Exposition of 1905 and again any further information would be appreciated for updates of this web-site.
