Mercantile Library, University of Missouri, St. Louis

This white marble bust stands about 24 inches high and is mounted on an elaborately carved oak pedestal that depicts scenes from the life and works of Burns.   Both were gifted to the library by the Burns Society (also called the Caledonian Society) in 1866.
